The only thing crazier than the outside world right now is Netflix’s Tiger King. The seven-part true crime series investigates the real-life rivalry between incarcerated big cat breeder Joe Exotic and “animal rights activist” Carole Baskin, who may or may not have fed her missing millionaire husband to a tiger. Every episode is a never-ending menagerie of “did that actually just happen?!” scenes exposing the seedy underbelly of the exotic animal trade in the U.S. There’s polygamy, sex cults, revenge arson, unhinged drug kingpins, tons of tigers (often kept in upsettingly tiny cages), and, the true star of the show, Exotic’s bleach-blonde mullet.

The self-described “gay, gun-toting cowboy” has already been hailed as this year’s unlikely style icon for his “business in the front, party in the back” hairdo (a controversial comeback look supported by Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish), and passion for funky fashion sense aptly described as “a bonkers Frankenstein-hybrid of Liberace, Lil Nas X, Dog the Bounty Hunter, and Hulk Hogan.”

Exotic’s sworn nemesis Baskin is more subtle in her sartorial eccentricities, dressing in Lisa Frank-like tiger-print blouses and flower crowns better suited for a 2015 Coachella attendee.

Suffice it to say, Tiger King has blessed us with sublime sartorial fodder for Hallowmeme 2020, which the Internet was quick to recognize:

Below, a guide to picking out the perfect Tiger King costume. Because it’s never too early to start planning for #SpookySzn.
